Twila Edwards: Collectibles/Blood Drive:
-Fresh & Easy-due asap, 1/15, to have turned in by February 1st.
-Spoke to the guy, said that he would suggest that we have a “shop night”.
We have had this discussion-had to have a specific amount of volunteers,
Etc, and do it every week. Now they have changed it-still have to have
Our own volunteers and a 4-hour time block, but can do once a week, once
a month or once a quarter, etc. Would need 4-6 volunteers. Twila will
check what dates are still available and try for the 21st or 28th.
Tawna Mower:Hospitality/Secretary:
-We will no longer be using Harkins for our holiday staff gift supplier. Next year will try AMC through the SCRIP program!

dinner this time. Would PTA provide the popcorn???? Unanimously yes!
-All technology that has been ordered should arrive before the end of
January.
-Bus lines: Trying to find way to reinforce positive behavior in our bus lines.
Have purchased stamps that can be used where they can take it to their
teacher the next day and get a raffle ticket for a daily drawing. Would
PTA sponsor items, such as a free smoothie or Cougarnival tickets, etc?
-Gift cards or something for families in need throughout the year? Krista s
suggests that we have a “fund” given to Hilary, since she works so closely
with all of the families, to use at her discretion.
-Have a need, as a school, for cheap radio cassette players-because our
reading anthology is on tape. Ritsa suggests letting her put the tapes onto
CDs instead-maybe by next year. Korry will talk to leadership and figure out what’s best.
-T-shirts-start looking for new ideas for next year.
